My Passport Wireless App Reviews

As a professional photographer, I find it very disappointing that the software does not allow you to view raw (RAF) files! I bought this drive to use when I travel so I can leave the laptop home and work from my iPad. Now IOS supports raw files, also cant not view thumbnails of jpgs even! How is a photographer supposed to quickly find a photo they need or edit their selections! an update would be appreciated!

Great so far .. No problems connecting to PC Mac iPad or iPhone

I have a WD MyBook Live Duo and I have set it up to back up my iPhones pictures and videos. Im very happy with my device and this companion app. But the only letdown is that files are listed with only files names. Theres no way to change the view or to see a files thumbnail. So in order to look for a specific picture or video, I have to flick through hundreds of pictures, which is annoying. Please fix that problem WD.

Really easy to use and it keeps my pictures always accessible.

I really enjoy the convenience of My Cloud and this app. Works great.

It good idea, but need lot impruvment. I cant use files from Numbers. And saving image of my HD from computer doesnt work perfect. It works slow.

System has done all I wanted. Is fast and reliable and my info. Is stored on my hardware on my network.

I used to love it. This update, not so much. If I scroll to say the 59th pic in a directory of 100, then view that pic, all is well. But if I realize I wanted the 69th pic instead and back out to the directory, I find Im right back at the top of the directory again, and have to scroll all the way through again! It wasnt like this in the past. I cant imagine what advantage such cumbersome browsing was meant to introduce!

I put a lot of music on my cloud, and Ive come across a lot of problems. One of which is that 10/1000+ albums show up in the "Music" tab, and they all have the wrong artwork. And when trying to navigate through all of the folders, if I back out at any time it automatically brings me back to the top and refreshes. If they fixed these issues it would be 5/5, and other than that it works as advertised.

when I want to save a photo to my iOS device, Ive to open it in another application first, then I can export to camera roll. Im missing the very basic functionality of photo saving which is very important in my opinion. the rest is ok.
