My Passport Wireless App Reviews

When I try to do "open in" Wd my cloud with the new version 4.4.5 for ios the icon is visible in the appl supporting this functionality but when I chose it and try to select a folder within my "MyBookLive" NAS, I obtain a message telling that it is not accessible.

Dont know what Id do without it. Ive never had problems with it.

The bug with the pdf files on my iPod 5 is not fixed. When I Try to save a pdf file from Yahoo! Mail to MyBook Live Duo a message thelling me that MyBook is offline appears. Its not offline, I can open any files in MyBook online with my ipod5.

Extremely unreliable. Never trust it to keep access to your data, especially if you a far from your cloud drive!

* music should be able to select one folder and get all music from only that folder not from entire hard drive * like to have playlist option * more video format support

I like it. But I agree with others...needs thumbnail support. Other than that its very helpful to keep my limited iPhone storage freed up.

My WD live duo lasted 2 years, then it became so slow it was useless. Seagate or Netgear is my next purchase.

I cant believe there is still no way to save multiple images from your network drive to camera roll.

MKV support is highly appreciated!

I bought the My Passport Wireless Pro and downloaded the WD My Cloud after reading recommendation in a photography magazine. Unfortunately if you are like most and you shoot in RAW/CR2 format, the app will not allow you to view these files as any kind of thumbnail. Makes searching for individual images a real pain. This was the intended purpose of purchasing this product and really is a disappointment. So now I wait on the app being updated to be able to work better with RAW.

Good app, but lacks the ability to play photos as a slide show. This would be a nice improvement.

I use this app for more than 4 years ,and found useful for people who has WD hard disk. I did not find any thing wrong with it.

Its a good app however still missing the main concept of the whole cloud file management and user friendly: here are a list I wish to see it in the next update release Apple Numbers, Pages and Keynotes to be considered as a document and be viewed or open in... capability - not treated as a folder - Can share a whole folder not just a file - sharing a folder is not functioning - The sharing link and/or file is still not functioning and it has glitches The app is very simple in options such as sorting file by kind or size also get file info Have the admin able to change, manage users and more options would be considered And many more can enhance and rich the whole experience
