My Passport Wireless App Reviews

I have this app on multiple devices, and I love it. I add content from my computer to the device, and the content is available on the app instantly. The app is great for people who really want there own cloud service, and another great feature is that the memory on the device is expandable. I added 4tb to my already large 2tb memory it came with.

to use Mycloud EX2 not that bad

Great for pictures. Uploaded from all old phones and it took a bit but it was perfect...

Use it with My Cloud. Very easy to use. Intuitive. I use it to back up photos from my iPhone..

Backing up your photos only seems to occur if the app is running in the foreground. Sorting is funny too for photos and videos, as theyll only appear if theyre in a subfolder of the photos folder for photos or videos for videos. Since auto backup puts everything in one folder, youll only see new photos or videos, depending on which subfolder stuff is put into.

The cloud application works well but the setup of the WD EX2-Ultra was not as straight forward as it was presented. Basically it was a pain. Having said that after it connected for the first time it works absolutely fantastic.

This app at least expands the use of your MyCloud device outside of your home. But it would be nice if it could recognize at least one playlist format, e.g. .m3u files

Its a good app and an absolute must if you have a MyCloud. Still, Id like to see faster backups of my phone pictures.

I have tested, built and owned countless servers and this one is the easiest to set up, most reliable, efficient and safe server I have come across yet!!!! Fully recommended. Need great hardware to hold your precious data and memories. Happy to own this amazing server. WD EX2100

Why are their pics zoomed up so its just the face? And why in the "photos" section wont let me delete

Easy to use. Fast internet speed is a must when streaming. Love having access to all my files. I wish iOS would have more WD functionality.

I love this app for mycloud hard drive. I really hope they allow a button to choose which way to find a picture; just stating if I could arrange pictures by date I could find them much faster. Also would be nice to choose which view I get when looking at inventory of pictures; thumbnail, full pics, so you could see them easier.

Ive owned my cloud for almost a year. I havent had any problems with it, and I really enjoy that I can access it anywhere there is an Internet connection.

No complaints.

I know people would like more features, but Id like to keep it sweet and simple. The only thing I would add would be iPhone sync/backup based on some schedule and not only when the app is open.

I have great wifi throughout me house but it seems that when I try and stream video or music I get about a 50% success rate. For me it either works 95% of the time or it is a nuance and I wont use it. I bought it to stream my music library to my smart devices but now it is just a hard drive.

I have no problem now to upload my photos and videos just takes time and patience.

PLEASE FIX THE BUG THAT CLOSES THE APP WHEN OPENING THE "DOWNLOADS" TAB HAD THIS PROBLEM FOR 3 YEARS NOW

Works great just needs the sorting option of the files. E.g. By name, date, size, and other options. Overall not bad if using for simple files.
