Support for your My Cloud device has changed, and some devices are no longer supported with this app. We’ve developed a new OS to keep up with evolving security standards. Compatible devices must be Upgraded to My Cloud OS 5 by January 15, 2022. Incompatible devices will lose support on April 15, 2022, and need to use local access to manage your content. Functionalities with the My Passport Wireless products remain unchanged. You can continue to wirelessly access, organize and stream content from your phone or tablet using the My Passport Wireless app.

My Passport Wireless app good for
Took a while but works fine. Should add more video extensions though.
The pictures are uploaded to the cloud only when the app is open. Best would be if app is integrated with iPhone to run in background
Love it, only thing I wish is that I could password protect files. I like to share pictures and videos with my family, but I wish they didnt have full access to everything backed up from my computer, and pictures on my phone. If this was changed Id give it 5 stars
Great app, using it for years with my MBL and My Cloud both. Works flawless. Please update the app to support PiP for iPad and will change to 5 stars. Thanks
Dont know what Id do without it. Ive never had problems with it.
I like it. But I agree with others...needs thumbnail support. Other than that its very helpful to keep my limited iPhone storage freed up.
Some bad moments
This is not easy to use and the automatic download dont works well, the videos in stored in the HD dont play continually.
Im trying to work with it but until now is not a good deal. There is others apps for HD others brands much more simple and better then WD.
Steel cant connect remotely. It always shows "drive offline". I dont know what to do anymore. I have tried everything. I just bought it to access remotely buy it doesnt work at all!
The App is okish but lacks primarily support for iPad Pro.
Also good to have is; to have a setup scenario / system management like in the browser.
The idea is good, but the realization of it is bad... this could be way better!
Since the last update, I am unable to connect to my 4tb my cloud device on the app. While other apps (video streaming) can access the folders and files just fine.
Maybe something with the latest update?
Regretting buying a MyCloud Drive. I bought it to store all my pictures of my children on however, I recently went to save all of my pictures from my iPhone 6 to MyCloud Drive and they do not save in chronological order of when the pictures were taken they are just all jumbled up and is absolutely no order at all the files are all saved in a order of when they were uploaded to the drive. This is a major inconvenience and flaw I would have rathered pay for an iCloud account with Apple
