Ive had it for two years now and It works awesome, I have access to any files, pictures and video from anywhere.

It started out a very rough experience, but after doing my own troubleshooting it now works great. The WD tech wasnt able to fix the original issue. I really like the Mycloud now that it functions the way its advertised!

Use it mainly for streaming video. Works very well. A feature I wish theyd consider is adding the ability to put together playlists, so you can stream a selection of videos, one after the other.

This app allows me to create folders and offload photos and video directly from my iPhone. I can also view all our saved photos and other files on my phone.

Without thumbnails this app is pretty much worthless. You need to support the my book live for thumbnails especially since you are dropping support (you havent updated it a long time anyway) for the wd photos app I cant see buying anything from your company if you decide to stop supporting for no reason but to push up to buy another product.

Easy to use and useful!

Ive only had it for a week and it serves its purpose. Just a few annoyances. Pro: User friendly Good basic functionalities (i.e. Create new folders and add pics and vids directly to those folders) Download capabilities for offline viewing Cons: After viewing a picture or video, you lose your place in the folder. So you have to scroll down to find where you left off. No progress bar when downloading videos or multiple pictures, etc. It doesnt let you know when one is completed downloading. The buffer window should be longer. Buffering almost every 5 secs for a 500MB video stream. Much better to download it and then view it.

It needs some work and simplicity added to the user interface.

App works well for my purposes. Very nice to have access to files whenever I need them!

This review is for the developers. You *must* persist the last shared location. When Im in the Photos app, and Im looking at a great pic I want to move to My Cloud, heres what I have to do: 1. Tap the Share icon. 2. Tap the My Cloud icon. At this point, if all that remained was for me to tap the Save button, I would be so happy and rate this five big fat stars. Unfortunately the My Cloud app does not persist the last location I selected. So now I must follow these ridiculously tedious additional steps: 3. Tap "select Location". (wait for screen to load) 4. Tap "Public". (wait for screen to load) 5. Tap "Shared Pictures". (wait for screen to load) 6. Tap "Select". (wait for screen to load) And then finally, I can tap "Save". Its *incredibly painful*, and a frictional force against using both your software and your hardware.

App is good, but when I tap on photos or videos I get operation time out error and not seeing at all any thing. No picture thumbnail. I would prefer amazon cloud.

Using this product, I no longer need to worry about space on my phone. I use it, listening to audio and viewing videos daily.

This excellent HD is hamstrung by some of the worst SW I have seen in a long time. Using a series of WD software, and probably a pencil and paper to write the file ages, is required to perform even the simplest tasks. This SW is far from fully-functional and I will not buy a WD drive again.

Excellent does the job well! I like using it.

Wd is a super star external hard drive , very useful with wifi technology for smart phones ,the app is easy to use Weldon and keep it up ✌️️✌️️

A good app but with need for improvements! I certainly agree with the review of Nov. 17. Also when I wanted to send a document to My Drive I had to guess that the word app is the place that should have been "My Drive".

This app is absolutely amazing! Easy to use, access is fast, and it works pretty much as I would expect it to. Im very pleased. Theres only one bug I have run into: When creating a new folder, using iPhone or iPad, it puts a leading space character into the name, which I have to manually remove.

Brand new just outta the box my cloud device... the app sees it, and after really long loading spinners wont connect. Every other device on the local network has no problem. This app wont even connect to Public folders either. If it can see the wd product on the network, why cant it connect to anything??!

Why no Thumbnail view? The app has been around for years and still no thumbnail view for pictures? Its impossible to find a picture out of thousands that are named a number by default. Its like trying to find a needle in a haystack. I gave 4 stars for overall function and reliability. The app has always worked. Just forget about sharing pictures with friends and family on the fly. You better have renamed each picture in your library if you plan on ever finding 1 out of thousands. Thumbnail view should be a function ported over from the WD photos app while still letting you choose any share not just the public folder.
