My Passport Wireless App Reviews

I have used My Cloud for about 6 months and have had this app for a while. Really not impressed with either My Cloud or this app. Sometimes it works and other times it doesnt. If I am connected to my home network it usually does OK, but anywhere else is touch and go. Most often when I try to open the app, I get a message that says the drive is offline. It makes it really difficult to add pics and videos when we have been on vacations or even when I am in my home city. Overall, it has been quite a disappointing experience.

So far so good. A little frustrated in the beginning, but it seems to be working now. The Apple TV app needs work. It takes forever and it buffers. Maybe some updates need to happen there.

I had a little trouble setting it up because the instructions in the myCloud manual really did not seem to match the setup process for this app on the iPhone 7. In any case I figured it out and so far so good! It is nice to be able to access my files at home on a personal cloud through my iPhone.

This app is good but still need improvements. Examples; 1. I want to be able to create new folders or rename files while exporting from Photo Album or other apps to My Cloud. 2. I want to able to sort files for viewing by dates descending or ascending.

Cloud access is disabled on the WD My Cloud device, and yet I can browse it from this app ... someone at WD better fix this ASAP.

We should be able to put tag on each photo. It helps a lot on others apps, like Onedrive. Although it is a very good app. You can store your files and reach them through the app. There are some issues about searching files, but it works very well as a personal cloud! Improvements are always necessary, but I recommend it!

This app is absolutely amazing! Easy to use, access is fast, and it works just as I would expect it to. Im very pleased.

I have backups for my familys iPhones going to the my cloud drive and it has work flawlessly so far.

My first NAS, still learning all that can be done, finding that some files are not accessible on all my devices, can see them in the folder, but cannot access them, only option is to share the link and that doesnt work either. I believe its something I not doing, they are available on my computer but not my IPad or iPhone, anyway thanks and keep adding more apps

Nice app. Very useful for accessing my files from my smartphone and while away from home. However, it could benefit tremendously from expanded file support and a View by Date option when viewing individual folders. Thanks!

My cloud appears to be a good device but it is very difficult to learn

Gives quick access to files that I otherwise would normally need a pic for.

Works great. Still havent found a way to reach the cloud outside of the house. Fast uploads and uploads many at a time.

The best way to raise the files and get them at any time, better than the other applications where I experienced many applications where space many fold higher than many and price compared to companies other very excellent as the price paid once, but other companies are payment every year, I would advise him strongly, Thank WD My Cloud .

It just work! No complaints.

Worse device I ever had in my life. Constantly has problem with syncing, getting lost on network etc.

It works well and I can save all my computer stuff in there with peace of mind.

awesome app!!! does what it says! havent encountered any bugs! Bravo WD!!
